The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be the first point of contact for prospective clients — identifying leads, presenting our services, qualifying opportunities, and closing new business. This role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and a passion for helping startups navigate government funding. Key Responsibilities Generate and qualify leads via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and events. Present and sell PRAGATI ONE India’s services: scheme consultation, application assistance, DPRs, pitch decks, recognition support. Maintain and manage sales pipeline in CRM; meet monthly/quarterly targets. Coordinate with Partnership & Policy Analyst for scheme eligibility and updates. Prepare proposals, quotations, and client onboarding documentation. Follow up post-sale to ensure smooth handover to delivery teams. Support marketing with client insights and lead-generating activities. Required Skills & Attributes Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills. Organized, target-driven, and proactive. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup-support environment. Familiarity with startup/MSME funding schemes is a plus. Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace; experience with CRM tools preferred. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Management, or related field. 1–5 years experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles. The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving growth by connecting with startups, MSMEs, and entrepreneurs who can benefit from government funding schemes and recognition programs. The role involves explaining our consulting services, closing deals, and maintaining strong client relationships — turning awareness into action. Key Responsibilities Identify, approach, and onboard new clients seeking funding or recognition support. Excellent knowledge of Indian startup eco system and government funding opportunities. Capability to understand the business from ground. Promote and sell P-1 India’s consulting services — including Government Scheme Consultation, DPR & Pitch Deck Preparation, and Portal Application Assistance. Understand client business models and suggest suitable government schemes or funding opportunities. Coordinate with internal teams for proposal creation, submission tracking, and client updates. Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets. Attend startup events, exhibitions, and networking meets to increase brand presence. Maintain accurate sales records and provide periodic reports to management. Desired Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong understanding of the Indian Startup & MSME ecosystem. Proven ability to identify prospects and convert leads into clients. Familiarity with Startup India, MSME, PMEGP, SIDBI, or similar funding schemes preferred. Self-motivated, target-driven, and solution-oriented. Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and online communication platforms. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred). 2–5 years of experience in business development, consulting, or startup advisory roles.
